Shortly after the Charlie Kirk assassination, I publicly “came out” as conservative. Shocking, I know.

Basically, I no longer stayed silent on X. No more passive apathy for destructive and corrosive behavior. In short, Woke extremists exposed themselves as frauds. While the actions of the shooter were his own, it was the millions who celebrated the murder that pushed me over the edge. It was a clear message of how our value systems were operating – and if given the chance, a huge portion of the population would love seeing me dead, and further claiming that it’s only a matter of time before they do.

The mask had been ripped off. No longer was Woke “identifying” as tolerant. They revealed their true nature and desires. And that’s scary. We are witnessing society crumble before our eyes. I don’t know about you, but I’ve fully evaluated what societal collapse would entail, the devastating hardship that all of us would endure, and to witness a large portion of the youth cheering that on… I just couldn’t sit back and ignore anymore…

If not me, who? If not now, when?

So, I evaluated needs. What is it that our country needs? How do I turn the tide? I’ll say it again, Woke can never again claim the moral high ground – that’s over. All of the seething accusations that conservatives are racists, misogynists, fascists, homophobes, etc. – these words no longer have any meaning. They weren’t true. They’re the boy who cried wolf, these words weaponized as a tool to demonize and remove people from the conversation, particularly white men.

The single greatest thing that will save our country are Western Enlightenment Values.

Western Enlightenment Values are centered on the primacy of reason as the source of authority and legitimacy, advocating ideals such as liberty, progress, tolerance, fraternity, constitutional government, and the separation of church and state.

These values were deeply influenced by the scientific method and empiricism, promoting the belief that human reasoning could uncover truths about the universe, religion, and politics to improve human life.

The Enlightenment fostered political modernization by laying the foundation for modern liberal democracies, emphasizing individual rights, the rule of law, and representative government.

These ideas need to be re-instilled among our population. And, the Woke needed to be shamed for sympathizing and condoning political extremist and terrorism — that type of behavior is not acceptable in our society.

So, I drummed up my own propaganda machine. I began writing articles, speeches, and creating memes. However, I was extremely careful to only criticize the idea of Woke — not anyone’s identity. And that’s a major distinction. Woke is an idea, not a race. Woke is an idea, not a sexual orientation. Woke is an idea, not a religion.

X Doesn’t See It That Way

Let me, again, be clear — I never criticized anyone for their identity. It’s 2025, we all have friends and family who fill in all the shades of color across the spectrum. You be you, just don’t be a Woke extremist. It’s the same thing as communism and Chinese people – Chinese people are rad, communism is bad.

Do you understand the distinction? Because it’s really important.

All of the articles and memes that I created have been posted here on my website – review them yourself. You’ll see I never attacked anyone’s identity, and I made it very clear that I wasn’t. I was attacking the idea and destructive political philosophy of Woke.

Anyway, after posting my content and memes on X, they shadow banned me. If you go to my X account right now, it will say “@SWHammond hasn’t posted” on my timeline. All of my posts have been removed from the search, my reach has been limited to single digits, replies filtered so that no one sees them.

X never sent me a notification or email saying that anything I said violated rules or policies. There was no notification saying that my account was restricted. X simply turned off the water. They just moved the party to a different room and left me standing there alone.

The ironic thing is that before I was shut down, I had received the most likes and most followers I had ever gotten in a single day. My rhetoric was certainly resonating.

At this moment, I have left my Posts and Articles up on X, but I have deleted a few of my Replies. Again, all of my replies were critical of the idea of Woke, not attacks against individuals or singling out any “protected groups” – and mostly these replies were a low-effort excuse to share the memes – the images doing the talking.

It’s possible that the opposition tagged my content as spam or harassment, simply trying to silence me because they didn’t like what I was saying – then the algorithms did their thing, Twitter’s original code being so ingrained against conservative speech. I don’t know, I’m trying hard to see any policy violations I may have committed. Perhaps X only allows token conservatives to share their views, giving the illusion of free speech on the platform – small conservative accounts suppressed before they could ever gain a following? Without a doubt, we’ve all seen much more controversial statements and images on the platform than the things I posted.

What Does This Mean For The Future?

Right now, I don’t know what this means for my X account. It’s a bummer because I’ve had it since March of 2007 — it’s a really old account from Twitter’s infancy. I liked that. I’ve read articles about shadow banning and they say that I need to give it a week or two, and things may go back to normal — I’ve just been put in “timeout”. I’ve also seen that I can appeal.

As of now, I’ve been banned for 4 or 5 days. I think I’ll give it the weekend and see if anything improves. If not, maybe I’ll try to reach out to X directly and appeal next week. X Premium has Grok user support — I tried that and the AI just kept referring me back to user policies. It wouldn’t confirm or deny that I was shadow banned, and wouldn’t give any violations or reasons as to why my account was limited — though it did recognize that my stats and reach were severely limited compared to usual.

All in all – this definitely feels targeted… How often do you hear of lefty accounts getting shadow banned? Entire terror cells are running on Reddit and Discord, and I get banned for posting memes.

C’est la vie – looks like I just flushed my social credit score, haha. See you in the re-education camps.
